ELAU PacDrive C400 / C400 A8 Controller

ELAU PacDrive C400/C400 A8 Controller is based on an Intel module processor. It uses the real-time operating system VxWorks where VxWorks provides logic and motion functions for a production or packaging machine. A PacDrive Controller synchronises, co-ordinates and generates the positioning functions for up to 16 servo drives which are connected via the SERCOS bus interface.

Several standardised field bus interfaces are available: PROFIBUS DP, CAN, CAN‐ open or DeviceNet. A variety of standard HMI systems, ranging from low-cost text displays to industrial PCs, can be used for the HMI functions.
